Midfielder Ruben Neves reiterates that the Wolverhampton Wanderers have no fear of playing their own tactics against any team in the Premier League.

Midfielder Ruben Neves has said that Wolverhampton Wanderers have no reason to fear any team in the Premier League, claiming that their opponents "are not superheroes".

Neves has played a key role in Wolves' strong start to the new season, with the newly-promoted side registering nine points from their opening six matches in the top flight.

The Portuguese international featured as Wolves claimed a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford over the weekend, and the 21-year-old has indicated that he and his teammates will continue to try to impose Nuno Espirito Santo's style of play.

Neves told the club's official website: "We want to play every game like it the last game of our lives. It's our job. You can't think about what you're going to do in the future until you've done things in the present.

"We can't think about the opponent all the time. If we do things right it's easier for us. We're never going to be afraid to play our football. They are not superheros. They are players and if we do things well we can make it difficult for other teams."

Wolves' next Premier League fixture sees the club host Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
