Pacos de Ferreira, Arouca stay unbeaten after 1-1 draw

Pacos de Ferreira and Arouca draw 1-1 to ensure both sides remain unbeaten in the Primeira Liga, thanks to goals from Bruno Moreira and Nuno Valente.

First-half goals from Bruno Moreira and Nuno Valente ensured Pacos de Ferreira and Arouca shared a point in the Primeira Liga this evening.

The hosts made a lightning start to the match and opened the scoring after just 3 minutes through Moreira.

Pacos struggled to create further chances against an Arouca side that controlled the bulk of possession, and on 34 minutes the visitors equalised through Valente.

Chances were at a premium after the break, although Pacos keeper Marafona was forced into a couple of good saves as the hosts held on to keep a point.

The result means that both sides maintain their unbeaten starts to the season, with Arouca currently in second place in the Primeira Liga table.
