Last-gasp Anthony Stewart header denies Portsmouth

Anthony Stewart scores a last-gasp equaliser as Wycombe Wanderers hold Portsmouth to a 2-2 draw at Fratton Park in League Two.

Anthony Stewart hit a last-gasp equaliser as Wycombe Wanderers held Portsmouth to a 2-2 draw at Fratton Park in League Two tonight.

Matt McClure's 22nd-minute strike was enough to secure a 1-0 half-time lead over Pompey, who recovered from the deficit in the second half.

Andy Barcham spared the blushes of David Connolly, whose penalty miss allowed the 26-year-old to equalise from the resultant corner.

Andy Awford's men thought that they had the points secured after Patrick Agyemang struck in the 84th minute, but Stewart pounced with moments remaining to grab a point for the Chairboys.
