SC Paderborn end 10-game winless run in Bundesliga

SC Paderborn put an end to their 10-game winless run in the Bundesliga thanks to a 2-1 triumph away to Hannover.

SC Paderborn have ended their 10-game winless run in the Bundesliga thanks to a 2-1 victory at Hannover.

Following a drab first half, it was the hosts who made the breakthrough on 66 minutes when Marcelo pounced at the back post to convert past Lukas Kruse.

However, Paderborn got themselves level with 17 minutes remaining as Srdjan Lakic guided a superb header into the net following Florian Hartherz's deep cross from the left.

The turnaround was then completed in spectacular fashion on 80 minutes through Alban Meha, who smashed a powerful free kick home from 30 yards.
