Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not want Donny van de Beek to leave the club in January, according to a report.

Donny van de Beek is reportedly unlikely to be granted the chance to leave Manchester United in January even if he continues to struggle for action at Old Trafford.

The Netherlands international has only made three appearances for the Red Devils this season, while he has only played six minutes of Premier League football in 2021-22.

The 24-year-old is believed to be keen to push for a move away at the start of 2022, as he wants to ensure that he is a part of the Netherlands squad for next year's World Cup.

Everton are said to be considering reigniting their interest in January, but according to ESPN, Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be reluctant to let the Dutchman leave.

The report claims that Solskjaer wants to keep the squad together for the rest of the season and is still confident that he will be able to hand Van de Beek enough football in the coming months.

The former Ajax youngster, who still has four years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, has scored once and provided two assists in 39 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
