Manchester United could reportedly 'accelerate' their interest in AC Milan's Franck Kessie next year, with Donny van de Beek and Paul Pogba potentially moving on.

Manchester United could reportedly 'accelerate' their interest in AC Milan's Frank Kessie amid the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek.

Kessie's current deal at Milan is due to expire next June, and the Italian giants are struggling to come to an agreement with the Ivory Coast international over an extension.

A number of clubs, including Man United, have been linked with the midfielder, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Red Devils are 'serious' about making the move.

The report claims that the English side are likely to step up their pursuit if Pogba or Van de Beek leave the club in 2022.

Pogba's contract at Old Trafford is due to expire next June, while Van de Beek continues to be linked with a move away from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, as the Dutchman struggles for regular action.

Kessie has also been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Liverpool.
