Antonio Rudiger has returned to the Chelsea starting lineup for the Champions league fixture with Malmo on Wednesday night.
The Germany international missed out against Brentford at the weekend with a back injury, but the defender returns to take his place on the left-hand side of a back three.
Thomas Tuchel had suggested at his pre-match press conference that Romelu Lukaku may drop down to the substitutes' bench, his head coach claiming that he is fatigued.
However, the summer arrival takes his place in a front two alongside Timo Werner, with Mason Mount the most advanced of three midfielders.
Jorginho has also returned to the starting lineup, with Trevoh Chalobah, Malang Sarr and Ruben Loftus-Cheek among the players to drop out.
There is still no starting place for Saul Niguez, who has only featured in two games since joining on loan from Atletico Madrid.
