Arsene Wenger: 'Petr Cech could miss out on Olympiacos match'

Arsene Wenger says that David Ospina may start ahead of Petr Cech in Arsenal's Champions League match against Olympiacos on Tuesday.

Arsene Wenger has said that he might start David Ospina ahead of Petr Cech for Arsenal's Champions League match against Olympiacos on Tuesday.

Ospina started Arsenal's opening fixture which they lost 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb.

"What I just want to say, it was not because I have decided Ospina [always] plays in the Champions League. It will go game by game and there can be a different decision," Wenger told reporters.

"I need to give [Ospina] games and I think he is a top-level goalkeeper, but that doesn't mean that he will play.

"That's our job, our job is about selection and competing with other players. I think he does that extremely well."

The Gunners could move into the top two in Group F if they beat Olympiacos.
