Scottish League Two roundup: Albion Rovers win to stay top

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's Scottish League Two action as Albion Rovers beat Montrose 3-0 to stay at the top of the table.

Albion Rovers easily saw off bottom-placed Montrose 3-0 this afternoon to keep their place at the top of Scottish League Two.

Goals from Ally Love, Ross Davidson, and Edward Ferns were more than enough for the points as Montrose failed to trouble the leaders.

Elsewhere, Robert Linn netted a hat-trick for Arbroath as they beat Clyde 3-1 to retain third place. Keigan Parker scored Clyde's goal deep in stoppage time.

Berwick drew 2-2 with Annan Athletic thanks to two goals from Andrew Russell, with Josh Todd and Ogeh Ban Ndanjong scoring in the second half to equalise for Athletic.

Chris Townsley and Kevin Nesbit scored as East Stirlingshire beat East Fife 2-0, while Jordan Moore notched in stoppage time as Queen's Park beat Elgin City 2-1, with Ally Gilchrist grabbing Elgin's consolation after a Mark Nicholson own goal.

Full results: Albion Rovers 3-0 Montrose; Arbroath 3-1 Clyde; Berwick 2-2 Annan Athletic; East Stirlingshire 2-0 East Fife; Elgin 1-2 Queen's Park.
