Scottish League Two roundup: Montrose record overdue win

Sports Mole rounds up all of Saturday's action from Scottish League Two as bottom side Montrose grab their first win in five games.

Scottish League Two's bottom side Montrose closed the gap on ninth-placed Berwick with a 3-0 win over high-flying Arbroath at Links Park this afternoon.

The win, which ends Montrose's run of four straight defeats, came courtesy of a goal from Graham Webster and a second-half brace from Ross Campbell.

League leaders Albion Rovers stay top after an Ally Love brace and Mark McGuigan struck to record a 3-1 win over Annan Athletic, but Queen's Park stay within touching distance after Ciaran McElroy's goal gave the Spiders a 1-0 win over 10-man East Fife.

Elsewhere, Clyde held in-form East Stirlingshire after Brian McQueen's goal cancelled out Steven Brisbane's early strike.

Results in full: Annan Athletic 1-3 Albion Rovers, Clyde 1-1 East Stirlingshire, Montrose 3-0 Arbroath, Queen's Park 1-0 East Fife.
