Wolverhampton Wanderers announce that they have completed the signing of former Liverpool youngster Paulo Alves.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have revealed that they have signed Portuguese attacker Paulo Alves.

The West Midlands outfit have added numerous Portuguese first-team players and prospects to their squad since the arrival of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, and that trend has continued with the acquisition of Alves.

Wolves have announced that the 20-year-old has penned a two-year contract at Molineux and will feature in the club's Under-23 squad.

Alves came through the youth ranks at Porto but the last three years have been spent at Liverpool, with 12 appearances being made at Premier League 2 level during the most recent campaign.

Wolves Under-23s have returned to the Checkatrade Trophy, leaving Alves with the opportunity to gain senior experience against clubs from the EFL this season.
