Alvaro Negredo: 'Valencia can beat Barcelona'

Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo believes that the team can beat La Liga leaders Barcelona when they go to Camp Nou.

Alvaro Negredo has insisted that Valencia can come away with a win when they face Barcelona at Camp Nou in La Liga this weekend.

Valencia sit fourth in the table ahead of their trip to the league leaders, but they are just three points clear of fifth-placed Sevilla.

The on-loan striker told reporters: "We know it will be very difficult to win at the Nou Camp but my teammates won there last year, why not this year too?

"It demands a lot of us. We have to be focused for 90 minutes but we will try to get the three points."

Valencia are unbeaten in 10 league outings heading into the match.
