Mark Palios: 'Fans entitled to boo Tranmere Rovers players'

Tranmere Rovers chairman Mark Palios insists that the supporters are "entitled to boo" the players following their third successive defeat on Tuesday.

Tranmere Rovers chairman Mark Palios believes that the supporters were "entitled to boo" the players following Tuesday's defeat to Wycombe Wanderers.

The League Two side suffered their third straight defeat when they succumbed to a 2-1 loss at Prenton Park.

"They're entitled to boo, of course they are," Palios told BBC Radio Merseyside. "They pay the money, they pay the wages and they demand a performance from the players, the board and the management team as well.

"The thing was they weren't actually, during the course of the match, putting extra pressure on the players and I appreciated that."

Tranmere are only out of the bottom two in the league table on goal difference.
