Tottenham Hotspur to move for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez?

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur may be leading the race for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly plan to use boss Jose Mourinho's links with agent Jorge Mendes to help them in their bid to sign Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Mexico international has followed up last season's 13-goal Premier League campaign with the same number this term in 28 appearances.

Jimenez has already been touted as a possible target for Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid, but Tottenham could jump right to the front of the queue.

According to Soccer Link, Mourinho's close relationship with Portuguese compatriot Mendes may work in Spurs' favour if they make a formal approach in the summer.

Tottenham would then have to agree a price with Wolves, though, as Jimenez's contract does not contain a release clause.
