Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United defender Ben Johnson this summer.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou currently utilises Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie as his first-choice full-backs.
While Porro and Udogie have been regulars in Postecoglou's lineup, Spurs are seemingly keen to add further strength in depth to the wide-defensive positions.
Emerson Royal is the only real alternative to Porro, and there appears to be some doubt surrounding his long-term future after being the subject of a failed January bid from Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
Although Ben Davies can provide cover for Udogie, the experienced defender is close to entering the final 12 months of his Tottenham deal.

With Spurs on the lookout for a new full-back, FootballTransfers are reporting that Johnson has been identified as a potential target.
Tottenham are believed to be considering a move for the 24-year-old following a recommendation from Spurs legend Ledley King.
Incidentally, the former Tottenham defender is the cousin of Johnson and currently works as an ambassador for the North London club.
Johnson rose through the youth ranks at West Ham before making his debut in a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in February 2019.

Although he has gone on to make 103 appearances, he has struggled to gain regular playing time under David Moyes this season.
Johnson has featured in just 16 competitive matches this season, with only seven of those appearances coming from the first whistle.
The West Ham academy product is out of contract in June and no progress has been made in talks over extending his stay at the London Stadium.
With Johnson set to become a free agent at the end of the season, he represents a cheap option for Postecoglou's side.
Johnson would also offer Spurs versatility due to his ability to play as a right-back, a left-back and a central defender.
