Leeds United to rival Wolverhampton Wanderers for Emmanuel Dennis?

Leeds United are reportedly contemplating whether to enter the race to sign Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis.

After netting a double against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this season, Dennis was quickly linked with a future transfer to the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of potentially moving for the £22m-rated player.

However, according to Voetbalkrant, Leeds have emerged as the frontrunners to sign the 22-year-old.

Having earned a return to the top flight, the Yorkshire giants are expected to bring in at least one new frontman before the beginning of the new campaign in September.

While Dennis still has two years left on his contract, Brugge boss Philippe Clement has previously acknowledged that the club's star man is likely to leave this summer.

Leeds United, Everton to move for Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero?

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Leeds United and Everton.

Despite the inconsistent form of David de Gea, there is little prospect of Romero ever being regarded as first choice at Old Trafford due to the potential of Dean Henderson.

That has led to suggestions that the Argentine is considering his future at United, aware that he will not be short of offers if he opts to take on a new challenge elsewhere.

According to ESPN, Leeds and Everton are monitoring the situation ahead of possibly making a change between the sticks.

While newly-promoted Leeds have signed Illan Meslier on a permanent deal, first-choice Kiko Casilla could be allowed to depart Elland Road after his ban for racial abuse.

Meanwhile, Jordan Pickford's place is under threat at Goodison Park after struggling to produce his best form throughout his campaign.
