Cristiano Ronaldo 'views Joao Felix as his heir'

A report claims that Juventus are prepared to trigger Joao Felix's release clause, much to the delight of compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly believes that Joao Felix can be his heir and has urged Juventus to wrap up a move for the Benfica forward.

The 19-year-old is on the radar of the best clubs in the world after enjoying an incredible breakthrough season at the Estadio da Luz.

Felix has recorded 11 goals and six assists in the Portuguese top flight and became the youngest player to score a Europa League hat-trick earlier this month.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Juventus are all believed to be in the running to sign the uncapped Portugal international, who has a release clause of around £104m in his contract.

Don Balon claims that Juve are prepared to meet the youngster's valuation, much to the delight of compatriot Ronaldo.

The report indicates that Ronaldo believes Felix could be the missing piece in the puzzle, with the Bianconeri falling short in their aim of winning the Champions League this season.
