The agent of Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci has revealed that his client would be willing to speak to Celtic should the Scottish champions submit a big enough offer.
United have set a £1.5m asking price for the Turkish striker, but Celtic are yet to meet that valuation having seen bids of £900,000 and £1m turned down.
Ciftci has already rejected a move to League One side Wigan Athletic this summer, but agent Pierre van Hooijdonk has suggested that the 23-year-old would be interested in a switch to Celtic Park if the "offer is right".
"There are only two offers on the table at the moment from two clubs. He told Wigan he does not want to go there. If United accept an offer from Celtic, we could talk," Van Hooijdonk told BBC Scotland.
"We don't want to put the player in a situation that he doesn't want to be in. He is not desperate to go. Nadir is away with United to Holland next week. He is very comfortable in this situation. He is not panicking because of the situation.
"When the offer is right for United and for the player, he will listen to the offer. If it's not, he won't be forced to move."
Ciftci scored 16 goals in 42 appearances for Dundee United last season.
