New Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand has revealed that he was impressed by his manager Neil Warnock's vision for both him and the club.
The 26-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee from Sunderland after travelling down to London yesterday to complete the formalities of the deal.
"I came down from London on Wednesday and spoke to the gaffer, and was impressed with his thoughts on where the club is going to go," he told the club's official website.
"I've heard good things about the manager and, after speaking with him, it's clear that he wants the best for me and wants me to do well.
"As soon as I came out of the meeting with him, I knew that QPR was the club for me."
As well as Sunderland, Ferdinand has also played in the Premier League with West Ham United.
