League Two roundup: Oxford United go top

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's action from League Two, including wins for Oxford United, Dagenham & Redbridge and Burton Albion.

Rochdale's brief spell as leaders of League Two came to an end on Saturday as Keith Hill's men were beaten 3-1 at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Oxford United replace Dale at the summit following a 2-0 win at AFC Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood Town rise to third courtesy of their 2-0 win at York City coupled with Chesterfield dropping points for a sixth consecutive match.

The Spireites earned a goalless draw at Bristol Rovers in a game that saw Eoin Doyle sent off four minutes from full time.

There was also a red card at Adams Park, where Matthew Bloomfield was dismissed towards the end of Wycombe Wanderers' 2-1 loss to Bury.

Phil Edwards scored a last-gasp winner as Burton Albion won 1-0 at Exeter City, while Neal Trotman's stoppage-time strike was enough to give Plymouth Argyle all three points at Mansfield Town.

Late drama was provided at the Globe Arena too, as Peter Murphy netted the decisive goal in added time to give Accrington Stanley a 2-1 victory over Morecambe.

Elsewhere, Newport County and Scunthorpe United gained wins over Southend United and Hartlepool United respectively.

Northampton Town and Cheltenham Town drew 1-1, which was also the score at Plainmoor in the game between Torquay United and Portsmouth.
