League Two roundup: Chesterfield leapfrog Oxford United

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's action from League Two, including wins for Chesterfield, Bury, AFC Wimbledon, Burton and Wycombe.

Chesterfield's best start to a season in 13 years continued on Saturday as the Spireites won 2-0 at 10-man Portsmouth to send themselves top of League Two.

Both goals, which arrived courtesy of Armand Gnanduillet and Tendayi Darwikwa, came in the final three minutes at Fratton Park.

Pompey forward David Connolly had earlier received the first red card of his career for an alleged elbow on Sam Hird.

Chesterfield replace Oxford United as league leaders, after the U's were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Rochdale.

James Constable fired Oxford ahead midway through the first half, before Matthew Lund's first goal for Rochdale earned Keith Hill's men their first away point of the season.

In addition to Chesterfield and Oxford, Burton Albion remain unbeaten in the league. Adam Reed's 98th-minute strike sealed a 1-0 win for the Brewers at Accrington Stanley, who remain winless and rock bottom.

Hartlepool United are the only other side who are yet to win this season. However, the Monkey Hangers did manage to double their points tally by recording a goalless draw at Torquay United.

Elsewhere, a goal in each half from Alan Gow saw Exeter City come from a goal down to beat York City at St James' Park.

Bury thumped Cheltenham Town 4-1, while Mansfield Town cruised to a 3-0 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.

Meanwhile, there were wins for AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers, Morecambe and Wycombe Wanderers.

Sam Winnall's third goal of the season was not enough for Scunthorpe United to claim all three points, as Andrew Hughes earned Newport County a 1-1 draw at Glanford Park.
