Nancy have picked up their first point in seven Ligue 1 matches with a 1-1 home draw with Sochaux.
Jean Fernandez's side had lost their last six league games, but got off to a flying start on Saturday when Sebastien Puygrenier headed Yohann Mollo's corner past a stranded Simon Pouplin in the 13th minute.
However, the hosts failed to assert their superiority on the match thereafter, and conceded the equaliser in the 55th minute.
Ryad Boudebouz's free kick from 25 yards bounced off the upright and on to Ishamel Yartey, who flicked it to Sebastien Roudet to smash home from close range.
Five minutes later Nancy went down to 10 men, as Djamel Bakar was dismissed for his challenge on Boudebouz.
Sochaux continued to dominate Nancy even more thereafter and were unlucky not to bag maximum points when Slovan Privat smashed his effort against the woodwork later on.
