Feyenoord's good start to the Eredivisie season continues after they claimed a 1-0 win against Willem II in Sunday's clash at De Kuip.
The hosts were quickest off the starting blocks, though early chances from Karim El Ahmadi and Michiel Kramer failed to trouble goalkeeper Konstantinos Lamprou.
Feyenoord kept plugging away, with Kramer coming within a whisker of opening the scoring courtesy of a header that Lamprou palmed just over the bar.
It proved more of the same after the break, as El Ahmadi hit the post and Kramer failed to knock the rebound past the Willem II goalkeeper.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's charges, however, got their just rewards when Eljero Elia struck the winner 67 minutes into the game.
The result means that Feyenoord climb to third in the Eredivisie table, level on points with high-flying Heracles and just one behind leaders Ajax, while Willem II continue to struggle in 15th place.
