Report: Liverpool set sights on signing Arsenal duo Oxlade-Chamberlain, Szczesny

Liverpool could reportedly spend £40m to poach Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wojciech Szczesny from Premier League rivals Arsenal this summer.

Liverpool have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Wojciech Szczesny from Premier League rivals Arsenal this summer.

Neither player is a first-team regular under Arsene Wenger, with Oxlade-Chamberlain making just nine Premier League starts so far this season and Szczesny on a season-long loan at Roma.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool have been alerted to the possible availability of the duo and could be ready to spend £40m on the pair.

Both players' contracts at Arsenal run until the end of the 2017-18 season.
