Mesut Ozil rubbishes Arsenal exit rumours

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil denies reports suggesting that he will leave the club this summer if Arsene Wenger stays on as manager.

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has rubbished reports suggesting that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Speculation claimed that the German was considering a move away from the Emirates Stadium if Arsene Wenger was kept on as manager of the club.

However, Ozil insists that he has great respect for Wenger and revealed that the Frenchman was one of the major reasons behind him joining the Gunners.

Arsenal are currently 11 points behind Premier League leaders Leicester City with a game in hand over the Foxes.
