Cardiff Blues dominated the second half of their European Rugby Challenge Cup match at the Cardiff Arms Park to beat London Irish 24-14 this afternoon.
Geoff Cross put the visitors ahead early on, but Richard Smith quickly got the hosts back on level terms in a busy start to an otherwise quiet opening 40 minutes.
Two tries in just over 10 minutes from Lloyd Williams and Krisitan Dacey in the second half took the game away from the Exiles.
The visitors did get another try on the board late on when the Blues were penalised for collapsing the scrum, giving Irish a penalty try.
The win sees Cardiff move to the top of Pool One and maintains their unbeaten start to the campaign, while Irish's first loss drops them to second.
