Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has said that the German club are keen to sign Ajax striker Vincent Janssen.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Tottenham Hotspur had opened talks with the Netherlands striker, who netted 27 goals in the Eredivisie last season.
However, Allofs has suggested that the Premier League side face competition for the 21-year-old by saying that they had held discussions with the in-demand frontman.
Allofs told Kicker: "We've got a few options. We've talked to Janssen. We are not the only club in the market for him."
It has been claimed that Janssen will cost a fee in the region of £12m.
