Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to move to White Hart Lane this summer.
The 22-year-old is expected to leave the French outfit having scored 17 league goals for the club last season, with West Ham United and Spurs both thought to be interested.
The Hammers have reportedly made a £31m bid for the Belgian and offered him wages of £80,000 a week, but Squawka claims that the player has turned down a move to the club in order to join Spurs.
Tottenham are yet to meet Marseille's asking price, though, while Batshuayi's wage demands would make him the joint highest earner at the club - a potential sticking point in negotiations.
Spurs are still looking at cheaper alternatives, including AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen and Basel's Breel Embolo.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Batshuayi, although both Spurs and West Ham are thought to be ahead of their London rivals in the race for his signature.
