Watford have emerged as the favourites to sign Roberto Pereyra from Juventus this summer, according to reports.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been linked with Watford's Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, while Zenit St Petersburg are also thought to be interested.
However, Sky Sport Italia claims that the Hornets have moved into pole position to sign the Argentina international as new manager Walter Mazzarri looks to strengthen his squad at Vicarage Road.
Juve are thought to be keen to offload Pereyra for around £10.25m in order to raise money for a potential move for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Pereyra started just nine league games for the Turin outfit last season as Juve won the Serie A title for the fifth year in a row.
