Lyon's president warns Tottenham Hotspur that the French club will not give up in their Europa League second-leg match.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has warned Tottenham Hotspur that his side will not give up in the second leg of the Europa League last 32 on Thursday night.

Spurs hold a 2-1 advantage from the leg in London and will reach the last 16 if they manage to avoid defeat in France.

Aulas, however, has said that his Lyon side will give it their all to qualify.

"The Europa League is a competition made for clubs like us," Aulas told Radio Scoop. "A match-up like this has an air of the Champions League to it.

"It's a chance for Lyon to maintain our strong current form and it will be such an formidable occasion that I cannot imagine for an instant that we'll give up against these Brits!"

Lyon are challenging Paris Saint-Germain for the title in Ligue 1.
