Pescara boss Zdenek Zeman has revealed that negotiations with Roma are progressing.

The 65-year-old has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Luis Enrique at the club, with the Czech admitting that talks are "at an advanced stage".

"I have spoken with Roma and I think that talks are at an advanced stage," he told Sky Sport Italia.

Zeman guided Pescara to Serie A promotion last term.
