Real Madrid Castilla hold Lugo to draw

Real Madrid Castilla come from a goal down to earn a point against Lugo that lifts them out of the Segunda Division relegation zone.

Real Madrid Castilla came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw in their Segunda Division clash with Lugo this evening.

Lugo opened the scoring in front of their own fans just after the half-hour mark as Ivan Perez put his effort past the keeper to give his side the advantage at the break.

However, they were hauled back a little more than 10 minutes after the restart when Madrid's Raul de Tomas levelled the score.

Neither side could find a winner in the closing stages of the match, as both teams were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.

The result continues Madrid's good recent form and lifts them out of the relegation zone into 17th place, while Lugo also climb up a couple of places to 10th.
