Team News: Angel di Maria makes first Paris Saint-Germain start

Angel di Maria makes his first start for Paris Saint-Germain in Friday's Ligue 1 clash against Bordeaux.

Angel di Maria makes his first start for Paris Saint-Germain in Friday's Ligue 1 clash against Bordeaux.

The £44m signing from Manchester United made his debut off the substitutes' bench in the French champions' last game against Monaco, and replaces the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic alongside Edinson Cavani and Lucas Moura in attack.

There is no place in the starting lineup for Ezequiel Lavezzi despite the Argentine's goal in the 3-0 win, while Marquinhos replaces David Luiz in the centre of defence for Laurent Blanc's side.

Layvin Kurzawa, signed two weeks ago from Monaco, is made to wait for his debut with Maxwell given the nod to continue at left-back.

Meanwhile, the visitors make four changes, with Pablo, Nicolas Pallois, Abdou Traore and Andre Biyogo Poko coming into the team.

Paris Saint-Germain: Trapp; Maxwell, Silva, Marquinhos, Aurier; Motta, Matuidi, Verratti; Di Maria, Cavani, Moura
Subs: Sirigu, Stambouli, Van der Wiel, Luiz, Kurzawa, Rabiot, Lavezzi

Bordeaux: Carrasso; Pablo, Pallois, Guilbert, Poundje; Traore, Saivet, Poko, Maurice-Belay, Khazri; Crivelli
Subs: Prior, Contento, Gajic, Thelin, Jussie, Rolan, Soni
