Los Angeles Galaxy 1-2 Philadelphia Union

A stoppage-time goal in each half for Philadelphia Union sees Los Angeles Galaxy lose for the second time in five days.

Los Angeles Galaxy have suffered their second loss in five days after a late Michael Farfan strike consigned them to defeat against Philadelphia Union at the Home Depot Center.

Galaxy, who were without David Beckham through suspension as a result of accumulative yellow cards, started brightly with Robbie Keane twice working Union goalkeeper Zac MacMath during an entertaining first half.

However, Bruce Arena's side fell behind on the stroke of half time as Farfan found Jack McInerney in space and the Union number nine unleashed a precise low right-footed drive that found the bottom corner from six yards.

The hosts deservedly levelled the scores 17 minutes from time when Chad Barrett tapped home from close range following a clever Keane pass.

However, Arena's face was once again a picture of frustration at the final whistle after Farfan was allowed to waltz into the Galaxy penalty area in stoppage time and place his shot into the bottom-right corner to seal an unlikely win for the visitors.
