Report: Brendan Rodgers receives offer from Chinese Super League

Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly offered a job working for the lucrative Chinese Super League.

Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly received a lucrative offer to become part of the Chinese Super League.

The top-flight league in the East Asian country has been recruiting numerous well-known players, including Ramires, Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Now, according to The Mirror, they have turned their attention to coach Rodgers, who has received numerous offers since Beijing Guoan's initial interest in the Irishman switched to Alberto Zaccheroni last month.

Rodgers has been out of work since getting sacked in October by Liverpool, where he spent three-and-a-half years without winning a piece of silverware.
