Manchester United will reportedly have to pay £90m if they wish to sign Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire in this summer's transfer window.
United have reportedly launched a £70m offer for the England international, who has been strongly linked with a move to both the Red Devils and Manchester City in recent weeks.
However, according to talkSPORT, the Foxes are not prepared to lose the 26-year-old for less than £90m, which would be a world-record fee for a defender.
Leicester are in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations as Maguire only signed a new five-year contract at the King Power Stadium towards the end of 2018.
City, meanwhile, are only allegedly prepared to pay £65m for the former Sheffield United youngster, who netted three Premier League goals last season.
United conceded 54 Premier League goals during the 2018-19 campaign, which was nine more than champions City and runners-up Liverpool combined.
