Manchester City are reportedly preparing to go all out for the signature of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland in the summer of 2022.
The Norway international is widely expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit when his release clause becomes active, leading to an intense scramble for his signature.
Man City are one of a number of clubs credited with an interest, although Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all thought to be in the running.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Man City are now 'determined' to win the race for Haaland's signature as Ferran Torres closes in on a switch to Barcelona.
The report adds that talks between the two parties have already reached a 'serious' stage, but Haaland's salary demands could still scupper a move.
The 21-year-old has struck 19 goals in 15 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions this term, and City are supposedly planning four deals to help them fund a move in 2022.
