Neither Tom Cleverley nor Shinji Kagawa make the bench either, while Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck have dropped out of the starting XI. Javier Hernandez, Juan Mata, Nani, Ashley Young and Darren Fletcher are all handed starting berths for the first time under the management of Ryan Giggs.

In contrast, Gus Poyet has kept faith with the same starting XI for the fourth consecutive game.
