Manchester City are reportedly keen for Danilo to be included in a swap deal for Juventus defender Joao Cancelo.
Cancelo has been strongly linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium over the last few weeks, with head coach Pep Guardiola seemingly identifying the Portugal international as the player to provide competition for Kyle Walker at right-back.
According to Sky in Italy, Juve want £54m for Cancelo while City are looking to do a deal at £36m plus Danilo, who only made 11 Premier League appearances for the Citizens last season.
Cancelo joined Juve from Valencia last summer and made 34 appearances for the Italian champions during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring once and providing eight assists.
However, a recent report has claimed that new Old Lady boss Maurizio Sarri is prepared to sell the Portuguese this summer for tactical reasons.
City, meanwhile, are also said to have made a bid for Gremio attacker Everton Soares, who is currently in action for Brazil at the Copa America.
