Manchester City have reportedly turned down a bid of around £13m from Inter Milan for full-back Danilo.
The 27-year-old made just 11 Premier League appearances last season as City became the first team in a decade to retain the title, while he completed the full 90 minutes on just nine of those occasions.
Inter are understood to have earmarked Danilo as a target for their summer overhaul, but The Sun claims that their opening bid of £13.25m has been rejected by the English champions.
City reportedly want an offer of closer to £22m for the Brazil international, who is one of only two specialist right-backs in their squad alongside Kyle Walker.
Discussions between the two clubs are still ongoing, though, and both parties remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached during the current transfer window.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly lined up Juventus full-back Joao Cancelo as a possible replacement for Danilo at the Etihad Stadium.
