Lyon coach Remi Garde has said that he has "no regrets" at his side's failure to win against Marseille on Sunday.
The former French champions fell four points behind Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain as they were held to a goalless draw at home by Elie Baup's team.
"It would have been better had we taken the three points," he told reporters. "It was a game against a direct rival and it was also important not to lose.
"We did everything we could, and gave everything. It just didn't work. We couldn't break down a well-organised defence, but OM didn't pose us many problems. I have no regrets."
Lyon last won Ligue 1 in 2008.
