Lyon coach Remi Garde has insisted only points matter after his side thrashed Bordeaux 4-0 away from home on Sunday.
Garde admitted that the result flattered his side, but that the win was important after a slump in the last couple of weeks.
"It's three points, nothing more," Ligue1.com quotes Garde as saying. "We're coming back from a bit of a slump, so the win is good for us, but the only concrete result is the three points.
"It was a great reaction from the players, even though the scoreline flattered us a bit - we were pretty fortunate."
The result has put Lyon just three points behind Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1.
