Efe Ambrose says that he is "happy" to be linked with a move to Liverpool and admits it is his "dream" to play in the Premier League.

Celtic defender Efe Ambrose has admitted that it would be a "dream" to play in the Premier League following reported interest from English clubs.

Bhoys boss Neil Lennon revealed yesterday that a number of clubs have expressed a desire to sign the Nigeria international, who has been linked to Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea City.

"I am happy to be linked with a club like Liverpool," Sky Sports News quotes Ambrose as saying. "My dream is to play across the border. The English League is the best but I am happy at Celtic."

Ambrose has made 28 appearances and netted three goals for Celtic since moving to the Scottish club last summer.
