Team News: Philippe Coutinho returns to Liverpool lineup against West Ham in FA Cup replay

Philippe Coutinho returns to Liverpool's starting lineup against West Ham in their FA Cup fourth-round replay.

Philippe Coutinho has returned to Liverpool's starting lineup for tonight's FA Cup fourth-round replay against West Ham United at Upton Park.

The Brazilian has been out of action for more than a month, but has been given the nod by manager Jurgen Klopp to get back on the pitch.

Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi have also had lengthy spells on the sidelines, but they are both among the substitutes in tonight's fixture.

Christian Benteke gets a rare start, while senior players James Milner and Jordan Henderson have been dropped to the bench.

Youngsters Brad Smith, Kevin Stewart, Tiago Ilori, Pedro Chirivella and Joao Teixeira have also been included in the first XI this evening.

As for the home side, manager Slaven Bilic has opted for a strong side by selecting Dimitri Payet, who is believed to be the subject of a £38m bid from a Chinese Super League club.

Overall, Bilic has made five changes by bringing in goalkeeper Darren Randolph, Joey O'Brien, Angelo Ogbonna, Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyate.

Adrian, James Tomkins, James Collins, Alex Song and Victor Moses are the players to drop out of the starting lineup.

West Ham United XI: Randolph; O'Brien, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Noble, Obiang; Antonio, Kouyate, Payet; Valencia
Subs: Adrian, Carroll, Collins, Moses, Oxford, Cullen, Parfitt-Williams

Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Flanagan, Stewart, Ilori, Smith; Lucas, Chirivella; Teixeira, Coutinho, Ibe; Benteke
Subs: Ward, Enrique, Milner, Henderson, Sturridge, Origi, Randall
