Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has praised his players for their performance during Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers.
The League One club avoided defeat in their pre-season fixture at Brisbane Road thanks to a late equaliser from Dean Cox.
"It was a really good workout. I've been pleased with all the pre-season games and the benefit they've been to the group. This has been no different," Slade told Orient's official website.
"I thought we showed some passages of real quality against a top side. It was good experience and more minutes for us. We passed the ball well, managed the game quite well at times and kept the ball."
Orient play their opening game of the new season on August 9 when they entertain Chesterfield.
