Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has heaped praise on Wes Morgan after the captain committed his future to the club.
The 32-year-old, who was an ever-present as Leicester stormed to the Premier League title last season, put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with the Foxes that will keep him at the King Power Stadium until 2019.
N'Golo Kante has already left the club this summer, while Riyad Mahrez has been strongly tipped to move, but Ranieri insists that the future is still bright for his side.
"Wes is a leader and a warrior. I'm so happy that he's committed his future to Leicester City Football Club," he told the club's official website.
"It's a wonderful time to be part of this team. Last season was so special and Wes was fantastic. Now we have another huge season ahead of us and we need him."
Morgan became just the third outfield player to play every minute of a Premier League title-winning season last term, after John Terry and Gary Pallister.
