Houston Dynamo have boosted their hopes of topping the Eastern Conference with an emphatic victory over Montreal Impact at Robertson Stadium.
The match was fairly even in terms of possession and chances, but Houston taught their opponents a harsh lesson when it came to finishing.
Macoumba Kandji opened the scoring after seven minutes with a close range tap-in, before Sanna Nyassi and Hassoun Camara both spurned excellent opportunities to equalise.
Bobby Boswell then doubled the hosts' lead with a simple 84th-minute header and Kandji scored again to complete the rout in the dying seconds with a thunderous strike into the top corner.
