PEC Zwolle, Heerenveen share the spoils

PEC Zwolle and Heerenveen share the spoils in a 2-2 draw in their Eredivisie clash at the Ijsseldelta Stadion.

PEC Zwolle and Heerenveen have drawn 2-2 in an entertaining Eredivisie clash at the Ijsseldelta Stadion this afternoon.

After a lively opening spell in which both sides traded chances, Mark Uth opened the scoring for the visitors from the penalty spot seven minutes before half time.

The hosts, however, levelled not long after the restart when Bart Van Hintum's free kick was headed home by Tomas Necid.

Uth then put Heerenveen back into the lead just after the hour following a fine pass by Daley Sinkgraven which allowed the German to fire home.

Zwolle equalised for a second time when Maikel van der Werff blasted a long-range effort past goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt after 74 minutes.
