Wesley Sneijder scores winner against Notts County

A Galatasaray side featuring Didier Drogba and Wesley Sniejder needed a stoppage-time winner to edge Notts County at Meadow Lane this evening.

The Turkish champions continued their pre-season tour of England with a friendly against the League One outfit, but fell behind to a deflected drive by County forward Enoch Showumni on 55 minutes.

Gala boss Fatih Terim brought on a host of star players including Drogba and Sneijder, with both players having an instant impact.

Despite a string of saves from County keeper Bartosz Bialkowski the visitors equalised 10 minutes from time, with Burak Yilmaz smashing home from 12 yards.

Following that strike defender Alan Sheehan lashed out in anger and caught Bialkowski in the face, with the keeper carried off after seven minutes of treatment.

In stoppage time Gala found a winning goal through Sneijder, who hammered home a strike off the post from distance.
