Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's League Two action, where there were wins for all of the top three in their respective bids for automatic promotion.

The race for automatic promotion from League One looks to be down to two of three sides as Charlton Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United all won this afternoon.

The trio of victories and Huddersfield Town's 2-1 defeat to Carlisle United leaves Simon Grayson's Terriers eight points off the top two.

Chris Powell's Charlton remain six points clear in first after beating Leyton Orient 2-0 while United won 1-0 at Hartlepool United and Wednesday beat Preston North End 2-0 in the day's early kick-off.

Alan Sheehan's late strike earned playoff hopefuls Notts County a 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic but MK Dons lost 2-1 to Brentford in a dent to their chances of a top-six finish.

In a battle of two of the division's strugglers, Rochdale and Walsall shared the spoils after a remarkable 3-3 draw, while there were useful points for relegation-threatened duo Wycombe Wanderers and Exeter City.

League One results: Bournemouth 0-0 Yeovil Town; Bury 2-0 Tranmere Rovers; Carlisle United 2-1 Huddersfield Town; Charlton Athletic 2-0 Leyton Orient; Chesterfield 1-4 Scunthorpe United; Exeter City 1-1 Colchester United; Hartlepool United 0-1 Sheffield United; MK Dons 1-2 Brentford; Notts County 1-0 Oldham Athletic; Rochdale 3-3 Walsall; Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Preston North End; Stevenage 1-1 Wycombe Wanderers.
